Limoge asks for votes
My name is Joy Limoge and I am running for Williston Selectboard because I care about Williston residents and the issues we are facing. I feel my problem solving skills as well as my background as a business person and real estate attorney are well suited to serve the residents of Williston.
It is important to you as voters to have someone who cares passionately about our town and this state and who is willing to fight zealously on your behalf! I promise to actively seek out your opinions on issues. I will fight to stop any rise in taxes. I will fight for a business friendly environment.
Your voice and your vote are vitally important. We continue to see a rise in irresponsible and unsustainable spending by the state. This in turn creates economic and tax pressure on towns and local municipalities and most importantly residents. Williston has done a respectable job of keeping its spending in line and I would like to see that continue. With the rise in local development, it calls into question the strain that will be placed on existing services. We need to carefully consider how we spend our money. We also need to look at our educational spending and whether we are achieving our goals. We need to keep our spending within Williston residents’ and businesses’ ability to pay. I would be honored to be a part of planning a sustainable and affordable future for Williston. I ask for your vote on March 3. Thank you!

Joy Limoge for Selectboard
Joy Limoge is a highly qualified candidate for the Williston Selectboard. A practicing attorney in town, Joy advises individual and business clients, lectures on legal ethics and real estate law and is a member of several professional organizations.
Active in the community, Joy serves the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Shelburne Museum, the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts and Therapy Dogs of Vermont, and she is a member of the Sunrise Rotary club. As an accomplished musician she is a member of the Williston Town Band, Healing Winds Vermont and she is a regional trustee for the Vermont Symphony Orchestra.
Joy Limoge’s background in law, business and community service make her an ideal candidate. I urge Williston voters to cast their ballots for her at the Town Meeting election on March 3, 2015.
