Fall/Winter program guide in this issue

Registration is open for all programs in the Fall/Winter program guide, found in this edition of the Observer (see pages 9-16). Be sure to pull out the guide and keep it. Programs listed inside run from September through January. Register online at

Youth Rec Soccer

Register now. Early registration deadline is Aug. 19. There are programs for kindergarten through 8th grade. The kindergarten program is a six-week parent/child program covering the basics of the game and game play. The program for grades 1-2 is coed, with separate boys and girls leagues offered for grades 3-4 and 5-8 (if numbers allow). Parent volunteers are needed to coach. Please sign up to coach when you register your child. Registration is online at

Help Wanted

We are looking for referees, volunteer coaches and program supervisors for the fall soccer and winter basketball programs. If interested, contact the Rec Dept. at or fill out an application, found on our website under Dept. Info. Please contact us now as we are in the planning stages for the fall.

July Fourth T-Shirts

Get yours before they are gone!The 2016 July 4 t-shirt is available for $10. They are sold at the Recreation and Parks office, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

Great Escape Discount Tickets

Day tickets and parking passes are on sale at the Town Clerk’s office. Tickets are $39 each, regularly priced at $58.99. Parking passes are $18 each, regularly $20. Tickets can be purchased Mon.-Fri., 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
