CVU makes top 50 high schools list

Champlain Valley Union High recently secured the 38th spot in’s list of America’s best high schools.
The website ranked the 50 best public and 50 best private high schools in the U.S.
“Our ranked profiles set out to capture what each school does to invest in the academic excellence of its students, the factor that ultimately explains why a school deserves to be called a leader in education,” according to the website.
CVU was the only Vermont high school to make the list.
“Ranked by as the top high school in Vermont, Champlain Valley Union High School is known for both the quality of its academics and athletics,” according to
Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua, N.Y. topped the list.
