The first Brick Church concert of the year was a success with around 100 people enjoying Chad Hollister, the dynamic performer who has roots in the Burlington area. He attracted a number of fans who know his material well, led the applause following each number and responded with a standing ovation after the last song.
The next concert, on Friday, Nov. 18, will feature Brett Hughes and Marie Claire Johnson, who have performed together for over 10 years. (Hughes was originally to appear with Kat Wright, who had a scheduling conflict.) Johnson and Hughes, performing as ‘Me and You,” promise to be a highlight of this year’s Brick Church Music Series.
