Kindred Connections, a program of the Vermont Cancer Survivor Network that offers one-to-one support to people who are currently dealing with cancer as a patient or caregiver, is coming to Chittenden County seeking new members. The program is already offered in Franklin, Orange and Washington counties.

The program is looking for people who are good listeners and are willing to offer their experience as needed.

Once accepted into the program, members are asked to make a one-year time commitment and are required to attend a training program. The initial trainings in Chittenden County are scheduled for Sept. 14 and 21. VCSN will provide training and continued support for Kindred Connection volunteers.
