Bike Recycle Vermont is looking for volunteers to help refurbish donated bikes for distribution to low income Vermonters. All levels of skills are needed, and basic mechanics training classes are available. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday scheduling, two or more hours a week.


Vermont Foodbank needs volunteers to sort donated food items and pack food boxes for senior Vermonters. Flexible weekday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. schedules. Youth volunteers are also needed to build food boxes, package fresh foods and provide general kitchen assistance. Gleaning volunteers harvest donated produce throughout the state. Training provided.


Essex Junction Senior Center is seeking a volunteer with strong management and organizational skills to help develop a survey. Flexible scheduling, estimate six hours.
