Vendors from around the world will showcase their goods Dec. 1-3 at the Vermont International Festival at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction.

The 25th annual Vermont International Festival will be held Dec. 1-3 at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction. Artisans from around the world will be travelling from their native countries to participate. The event showcases ethnic diversity with arts, crafts, food, dance and musical performances. About 50 vendors sell imported handcrafts including clothing, accessories, pottery, wall hangings, rugs, holiday decorations, instruments, sculptures, carvings and jewelry.

Ethnic food will be available, including Congolese, Nepali, Argentinian, Polish, Indian, Turkish and more.

Dec. 1 is school day at the festival, when children from all over Vermont will come to the event.

The event opens to the public at 5 p.m. Dec. 1 and continues Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door: $7 for adults, $5 for children 6-12 and $5 for seniors. There is also a $20 family pass available, and children under 6 are free. Tickets are good for admission for the entire weekend.
