‘Soup’er day in Williston

Over 800 people showed up Sunday for the Williston Police Officers’ Association seventh annual Chowder Challenge.

The seventh-annual Williston Chowder Challenge took place Sunday to benefit the Williston Community Food Shelf and the Williston Police Officers’ Association.

Roughly 820 people participated, about 100 more than last year.

The winners:

Traditional

THIRD PLACE — Vermont Meat and Seafood

Non-traditional

FIRST PLACE — Williston Fire Department

SECOND PLACE — Grazers
