On March 20, students from Champlain Valley Union High School and Rice Memorial High taught area seniors how to take, save, edit and share photos using their smartphones and tablets. The event was organized by Technology for Tomorrow, a Williston-based nonprofit that works with students from high schools across Vermont to coordinate educational technology workshops.
CVU students have been working regularly with the seniors at Wake Robin to lead technology workshops and continue to have workshops scheduled through May. The students lead workshops at a variety of locations and each workshop is open to the community.
Barbara Madden snaps a selfie during the Technology for Tomorrow event; Mathieu Bergeron and Betty Custer get in front of the camera; Alice and Dale Critchlow practice their selfie skills.
