Fall programs

Adult Fitness — Ages 16-plus, 18-plus and 50-plus. Use It to Lose It, Aquatic Fitness, Dangerous Girls, Chi Kung, Gentle Yoga, Tao Tin, Kickboxing, Golden Grooves, Strength Training, Seated/Gentle Yoga.

Adult Education — Ages 16-plus, 18-plus and 50-plus. American Heart Association BLS CPR/AED, Heartsaver CPR/AED, Knitting, Collage.

Adult Sports — Ages 16-plus, 18-plus and 50-plus. Pickleball Clinic, Pickleball 101, Golf.

Pre-school, Youth & Teen Sports — Ages 9 months to 15 years. Field Hockey, GPS Soccer, Tennis, Martial Arts, Golf, Taekwondo, Gymnastics, Tiny Tumblers Open Gym, Horse Riding Lessons.

Youth After-School Programs — Grades K-8. Young Rembrandts Drawing, Parisi Afterschool Program, Knitting.

Family Programs — Ages 6-14 and a parent. Let’s Go Fishing.

Williston seniors organization

Are you 55-plus and looking to get out and meet people? Do you like a good meal, socialization and fun games? If so, check out the Williston Seniors organization. They meet twice a month. The first Tuesday of the month is a pot luck lunch and a club meeting starting at 11:45 a.m. The third Tuesday of the month is soup and games starting at 11:30 a.m. Come enjoy time with other seniors. The club meets at the Green Mountain Masonic Center, 87 Bishop Avenue.

Blueprint for Healthcare & SASH Programs

Free programs sponsored by Blueprint for Healthcare-UVM Medical Center and SASH: Matter of Balance, Diabetes Support Group, Diabetes Healthy Living Workshops, Healthy Living Workshops for Chronic Conditions. Age Well Programs

Open Gym Programs

Come out and play, stay fit and meet new people. These ongoing open gym programs are open to Williston residents at no charge. Schedules are available at willistonrec.org. No open gym during school breaks or holidays.

Coed 18-plus Open Gym Volleyball — Mondays, Sept. 10-May 20, 7-10 p.m. Allen Brook School gym.

Men’s 18-plus Open Gym Basketball — Mondays, Sept. 10-May 20, 7-10 p.m. Williston Central School old gym.

Men’s 25-plus Open Gym Basketball — Wednesdays, Sept. 12- May 22, 7-10 p.m. Williston Central School old gym.

Women’s 18-plus Open Gym Basketball — Thursdays, Sept. 13-May 23, 7-10 p.m. Williston Central School old gym.

Coed Volleyball League

Are you looking to join a league, or do you have a team that you would like to enter? The league offers two sessions, fall and spring, each finishing with a double-elimination tournament. A coed team requires two or more females on the court at any time regardless of substitutions. Ages 18-plus, Wednesdays, 7-10 p.m. Fall session registration deadline is Sept. 1. $10 residents/$15 nonresidents. Contact Tim Armstrong at willistonvolleyball@gmail.com for more information.

Free Square Dancing

All ages welcome. The first two classes are free. Come to the Tuttle Middle School Gym in South Burlington and make some new friends and learn to square dance. The Lake Champlain Squares will teach you how. No experience required. Come as a single or bring a friend. Wear comfortable clothing and soft sole shoes. Tuesdays, Sept. 11 and 18, 7-9 p.m.

Great Escape Discount Tickets

Tickets and parking passes to the Great Escape, N.Y., are now on sale at the town clerk’s office. Tickets are $40 each for all ages (2 and under are admitted free). A parking pass is $18. Tickets can be purchased Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the office, 7900 Williston Road.
