Wanted person

• On Dec. 9, an off duty police officer called in a motor vehicle check and Chad Somerville, 27, of Burlington was subsequently “arrested as a fugitive from justice on a warrant out of Indiana for burglary,” according to police reports. He was taken to Chittenden County Correctional Center.

• Following a motor vehicle stop on Dec. 11, Toby L. Aylward, 38, of Waterbury Center was arrested on a “felony warrant,” according to police reports. Aylward was taken to Chittenden County Correctional Center. No other information was released.

Violation of conditions

Mitchell Robtoy, 20, of St. Albans was “arrested and cited for violations of conditions of release” after he allegedly attempted to steal more than $2,500 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart and more than $1,100 worth of merchandise from Circuit City on Dec. 9, according to police reports. He was released on a citation to appear in Franklin County Court on Dec. 15, the report notes.

Trespassing/outstanding warrant

Ryan N. Mercia, 24, was arrested on an outstanding warrant on Dec. 9 stemming from a previous retail theft charge, according to police reports. He was also cited for unlawful trespass, the report notes. He was taken to Chittenden County Correctional Center and released on bail. No further information was released.

Smashed window

A window at Harmony Spa on Williston Road was reportedly “smashed” on Dec. 10, according to police reports. The case is under investigation.

Driving with suspended license

• Sandy King, 41, of Winooski was arrested and cited for driving with a suspended license on Dec. 10, according to police reports. Police also seized the vehicle’s license plates, as “they did not match,” the report notes. The vehicle was towed and King was released with a citation to appear in court.

• Michael P. Witter, 51, of Colchester was arrested after a registration check, and cited for criminal driving with a suspended license on Dec. 10, according to police reports.

He was released with a citation to appear in court.
