Two vehicles at Allen Brook School were “entered” on Nov. 10, but “nothing was taken,” according to police reports. No other information was released.
Recovered stolen property
On Nov. 11, a Ford Explorer that had been stolen in South Burlington was found on the property of a business on Commerce Street in Williston, according to police reports. The vehicle was towed to the South Burlington Police Department, which is handling the case.
Jeremy Bennett, 27, of St. George was charged with retail theft after allegedly stealing about $80 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart on Nov. 11, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court on Dec. 1.
• Zachary Howe, 23, of Milton was charged with domestic assault on Nov. 12, according to police reports. No other information was available as of press time.
• Michael Cronin, 47, of Williston was charged with domestic assault on Nov. 17, according to police reports.
John Hirth, 42, of Hinesburg was cited for embezzlement from Environmental Products and Service on Commerce Street on Nov. 13, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court. No other information as to the nature of the charge was released.
Driving with a suspended license
Larry Pike, 24, of Starksboro was charged with driving with a suspended license on Nov. 13, according to police reports. The suspension stemmed from a driving under the influence charge in July 2008, the report notes. He was cited to appear in court.
