Burglary

Police are investigating a commercial burglary that occurred between May 4 and 7 in which the suspects broke into several construction trailers at ECI in Williston. Numerous items —including 1,000 feet of welding leads — were stolen, according to police reports. Also stolen from a VELCO substation were several feet of copper wire, according to the report. The suspects cut through a fence to gain access to the wire, the report notes. Anyone with information is asked to call Williston Police at 878-6611 or Crimestoppers at 864-6666.

Violation of conditions

Donna Pike, 53, of Williston was lodged at the Chittenden County Correctional Center on April 29 after violating her “conditions of release,” according to police reports. She was held on $750 bail, the report notes.

Driving under the influence

On April 29, Eric H. Wood was cited on a charge of driving under the influence-refusal after being stopped for motor vehicle violations, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court on May 19.

Driving with suspended license

  •   Christina L. Maskell, 27, of Burlington was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license-criminal on April 7, according to police reports. She was cited to appear in court.
  •  Betsey Fisher, 25, of Williston was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license-criminal on April 11, according to police reports. She was cited to appear in court on June 12.
  •  On April 9, Christopher Seagroves, 21, arrived at the State Police Barracks in Williston to have his fingerprints and photographs taken from an arrest on Feb. 13 for driving with a criminally suspended license, according to police reports. After being processed for this arrest, Seagroves went out to the parking lot of the State Police Barracks and drove his vehicle away, according to the report. Seagroves was contacted on his cell phone and told he had just been seen driving with a suspended license, after which he had a licensed operator return him to the barracks where he was issued another citation for driving with a criminally suspended license, according to the report. He was cited to appear in court on May 22.
  •  Chapman Smith, 29, of Huntington was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license on April 20, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court.
  •  Marc S. Vien, Jr., 30, of Essex was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license on March 14, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court.
  •  Christie Adams, 28, of Burlington was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license on April 26, according to police reports. No other information was released.
