Multiple charges

Williston police were called to a local business on Jan. 14 for a report of a trespassing violation. Police found Laurie A. Slingerland, 42, of Colchester, who had previously been trespassed from the business, according to police reports. Slingerland was arrested on charges of unlawful trespass and eight outstanding warrants, according to the report. She was lodged at the Chittenden County Correctional Center for lack of $14,600 bail, the report notes.

Fraud

William LaCross, 48, of Milton was cited on charges of false pretense on Jan. 11, according to police reports. No other information was released.

Theft

• Prescription medication identified as Zoloft was taken from a car parked at 99 Restaurant on Jan. 12, according to police reports. Anyone with information is asked to call Williston Police at 878-6611.

• A wallet and checkbook were stolen from an unlocked car parked at Shaw’s supermarket on Jan. 16, according to police reports. Anyone with information is asked to call Williston Police at 878-6611.

Driving with suspended license

• Meghann Vigil, 24, of Essex Junction was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license-criminal on Jan. 13, according to police reports. She was cited to appear in court on Feb. 7.

• Ellen M. LaBounty, 57, of Burlington was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license-criminal on Jan. 13, according to police reports. She was cited to appear in court on Feb. 7.

• Clayton C. Reynolds, 52, of Westford, was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop in Williston on Jan. 14, according to police reports. Reynolds was cited to appear in court on March 7.

• Robert W. Dougherty, 36, of South Burlington was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license-criminal on Jan. 15, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court on March 7.

Vandalism

Someone tried to “cut into the top” of a trailer parked on Avenue D near Old Dominion Freight on Jan. 17, according to police reports. Anyone with information is asked to call Williston Police at 878-6611.
