Marijuana possession

• Following a motor vehicle stop for alleged speeding on Jan. 20, Benjamin P. Brooks, 20, of St. George was cited on a charge of marijuana possession, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court on March 1. No other information was released.

• Police responding to a report of someone smoking in a restroom at the Jean Garvin School subsequently cited a male juvenile on a charge of marijuana possession on Feb. 1, according to police reports. No other information was released.

Multiple charges

• Rachelle Leggett, 20, of Williston was cited on charges of driving under the influence-refusal, “minor in possession of alcohol by consumption,” operating a vehicle after suspension, no registration, and underage drinking with a blood alcohol test result of more than .02 after a motor vehicle stop on Feb. 2, according to police reports. Leggett was cited to appear in court on Feb. 23.

• Duane Farnsworth, 29, of Williston was cited on charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and unlawful mischief on Feb. 4, according to police reports. No other information was released.

Excessive speed

Anthony T. Kukla, 20, of Southington, Connecticut was cited on a charge of excessive speeding on Feb. 2 after allegedly driving 100 mph on Interstate 89, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court on April 5.

Petit larceny

Louise M. Shea, 38, of Burlington was cited on a charge of petit larceny on Feb. 2 after allegedly stealing a credit card from a locker at the YMCA in Burlington and subsequently using the card to purchase more than $1,100 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart, Christmas Tree Shops and Williston Liquidation Center, according to police reports. She was cited to appear in court.

Driving under the influence

Following a report of a vehicle traveling slowly and “swerving on the Interstate near the Williston exit,” police stopped and subsequently cited Sara J. Slattery, 29, of Essex on a charge of “suspicion of driving under the influence,” according to police reports. She was cited to appear in court.

Retail theft

On Feb. 2, Joshua Preston, 21, of Jeffersonville was cited on a charge of retail theft from Wal-Mart after allegedly stealing 12 video games valued at more than $215, according to police reports. Preston was taken to the Williston Police Department, where a field supervision unit took custody of him and transported him to Chittenden County Correctional Center on a federal parole violation, according to the report. No other information was released.

Simple assault

Natalie Kirk, 19, of Williston was cited on a charge of simple assault on Feb. 6, according to police reports. She was lodged at Chittenden County Correctional Center on $250 bail, the report notes. No other information was released.

Driving with suspended license

• Following a motor vehicle stop on Feb. 1, Crystal L. Hardy, 24, of Essex was cited on a charge of “criminal” driving with a suspended license, according to police reports. Hardy was cited to appear in court on March 1.

• Following a motor vehicle stop on Feb. 3, Shane McCullagh, 21, of Essex was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court on March 1.

• Following a motor vehicle stop on Feb. 3, Ryan Barcomb, 28, of Essex Junction was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court on March 1.

• Following a motor vehicle stop on Feb. 3, Thomas Tomasi, 46, of Williston was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court on March 1.

• On Feb. 4, Erik Mogensen, 22, of Stowe was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court.

• Following a motor vehicle stop on Feb. 4, Adam Watson, 23, of Williston was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court on March 1.

• Following a motor vehicle stop on Jan. 19, William J. Preston, 37, of Burlington was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court.

• Robert W. Frenette, 61, of Williston was cited on a charge of “criminal” driving with a suspended license and also issued “numerous violations” after a traffic stop on Feb. 5, according to police reports.
