Police apprehend wanted man
On June 5, Officer Alex Tower of the Williston Police Dept. stopped a vehicle on St. George Road. The driver, Irving Lisboa-Cupely, 59, of Williston was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Florida for six charges regarding the sexual assault of minors. Florida agreed to extradite Lisboa-Cupely to answer to the charges, so he was lodged as a fugitive from justice at Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility for lack of $50,000 bail.

Suspicious circumstances
The Edge in Williston reported on May 5 that someone “has been going to the parking lot and placing orange cones on a couple of members cars and it is not damaging the cars,” according to police reports. No other information was released.

Driving under the influence
Elizabeth H. Hotchkiss, 47, of Essex Junction was cited on a charge of driving under the influence on May 5, according to police reports. Her blood alcohol concentration was .157, according to the report. The legal limit for driving in Vermont is .08. Hotchkiss was cited to appear in court.
Marshall H. Mason, 42, of Underhill was cited on a charge of driving under the influence on April 19, according to police reports. His blood alcohol concentration was .117, according to the report. Mason was cited to appear in court.
Tyre Leo Duvernay, 38, of Williston was cited on a charge of driving under the influence on April 19, according to police reports. His blood alcohol concentration was .125, according to the report. Duvernay was cited to appear in court.
Shelly L. Boucher, 34, of Colchester was cited on a charge of driving under the influence on April 22, according to police reports. Her blood alcohol concentration was .189, the report notes. She was taken to Chittenden County Correctional Facility for “detox,” according to the report.
Linda F. Weston, 47, of Fayston was cited on a charge of driving under the influence on April 28, according to police reports. Her blood alcohol concentration was .210, the report notes. She was cited to appear in court.

Multiple charges
Christopher McQuillan, 21, of Doyleston, Penn. was cited on charges of furnishing alcohol to a minor and possession of a narcotic on April 30, according to police reports. He was lodged at Chittenden County Correctional Facility for lack of $1,000 bail, the report notes. He was cited to appear in court.
Tyre Duvernay, 38, of Williston was arrested on a warrant for driving under the influence – second offense and driving with a suspended license on May 1, according to police reports. He was lodged at Chittenden County Correctional Facility for lack of $500 bail, the report notes. No other information was released.

Theft
Lumber was stolen from a new home construction site on Route 2A on April 21, according to police reports. Police are investigating.
Dress patterns were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in Williston on April 22, according to police reports. No other information was released.
Copper valued at $2,489 was stolen from the Velco substation in Williston on April 23, according to police reports. The case is under investigation.
Zachary A. Whalon, 29, of Winooski was cited on a charge of retail theft from Walmart on April 25 after allegedly stealing more than $380 worth of merchandise, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court.

Disorderly conduct
Grace A. Ross, 38, of Williston and Nichole P. Durkin, 31, of Waterbury were cited on charges of disorderly conduct on April 25, according to police reports. Both were cited to appear in court.

Violation of conditions of release
Barbara Andic, 65, transient, was cited on a charge of violating conditions of release on May 3, according to police reports. No other information was released.

Driving with suspended license
Eric Wilson, 32, of Williston was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license on May 7, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court on July 22.
Following a traffic stop for speeding, Sean M. Durkin, 43, of Burlington was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license on April 14, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court. Amanda Lafond, 35, of Burlington was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license on May 3, according to police reports. She was cited to appear in court.
