Heroin possession

Kyle J. Knowlton, 28, of Essex was cited on a charge of heroin possession on Aug. 7, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court on Oct. 1.

Animal cruelty

An animal cruelty violation was issued to “a person” who left a dog in a vehicle during hot weather on July 27, according to police reports. The dog was “in distress” when police arrived and was removed from the vehicle before the owner returned, the report notes. Police did not release the name of the person.

Fowl harboring

Police received a report on Aug. 11 that someone has been “harboring a chicken and a rooster” at a Maple Tree Place apartment, according to police reports. No other information was released.

Marijuana confiscated

Four “violations” were given to a driver allegedly speeding on Oak Hill Road on July 28, according to police reports. During the traffic stop, police also confiscated 2.7 grams of marijuana, according to the report. No other information was released.

Driving under the influence

Willam D. Wixon, 50, of Isle La Motte was cited on a charge of driving under the influence-fifth offense on July 28, according to police reports. His blood alcohol concentration was .162, the report notes. The legal limit for driving in Vermont is .08. He was also cited on a charge of driving with a criminally suspended license, according to the report. He was cited to appear in court.

Jordon M. Maynard, 28, of Bakersfield was cited on a charge of driving under the influence on Aug. 11, according to police reports. His blood alcohol concentration was .117, the report notes. He was cited to appear in court.

Adnan Music, 27, of Williston was cited on a charge of driving under the influence on Aug. 11, according to police reports. His blood alcohol concentration was .252, the report notes. He was cited to appear in court.

Theft

An iPhone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the Dick’s Sporting Goods parking lot on July 27, according to police reports.

Tony Larock, 21, of Milton was cited on a charge of petit larceny on July 29 after allegedly stealing jewelry, according to police reports. No other information was released.

Sara Munger, 28, of Colchester was cited on a charge of retail theft after allegedly stealing approximately $595 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart, according to police reports. She was also wanted on three outstanding warrants and was taken to Chittenden County Correctional Center, the report notes.

Lillian E. Fay, 21, of Essex Junction, was cited on a charge of retail theft from Wal-Mart on July 29 after allegedly stealing $120 worth of merchandise, according to police reports. No other information was released

Multiple items were taken from work vehicles secured on the property of AC Hathorne Company on Aug. 5, according to police reports. Police are investigating.

Police are investigating the reported theft of a lawn tractor from the shed of a South Brownell Road residence on Aug. 11, according to police reports.

Warrant

Larry W. Kirby, 40, of Williston was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant on Aug. 6, according to police reports. No other information was released.

Multiple charges

Robert G. Cappiallo, 28, of Bradford was cited on Aug. 8 on “several” fraud charges that occurred at Curtis Lumber, according to police reports. He was also cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license, the report notes. No other information was released.

Burglary

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred on Aug. 9 at a residence on North Williston Road, according to police reports. No other information was released.

Driving with suspended license

Kristina King, 26, of South Burlington was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license on July 27, according to police reports. She was cited to appear in court.

Joshua A. Pellerin, 28, of Waterbury was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license on July 28, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court.

Mark Sikora, 44, of Richmond was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license on Aug. 5, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court on Sept. 17.

Bridgett A. Matas, 42, of Fairfax was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license-criminal on Aug. 6, according to police reports. She was cited to appear in court on Sept. 17.

Nakita Brace, 24, of Essex was taken into custody and cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license on Aug. 6, according to police reports. She was cited again on the same charge a short while later after she was seen by police driving her vehicle from where it was “grounded” at a Taft Corners gas station. She was cited to appear in court.

Eric W. Wilson, 32, of Richmond was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license-criminal on Aug. 7, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court on Sept. 17.

Angela M. Lariviere, 28, of Winooski was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license-criminal on Aug. 9, according to police reports. She was cited to appear in court on Sept. 17.
