Driving under the influence

  • Bernard Crowley, 55, of Burlington was cited on a charge of driving under the influence on Feb. 18, according to police reports. His blood alcohol concentration was .116, the report notes. The legal limit for driving in Vermont is .08. He was cited to appear in court.
  • Russell F. Aubertine, 63, of Williston was cited on a charge of driving under the influence on Feb. 22, according to police reports. His blood alcohol concentration was .181, the report notes. He was cited to appear in court.
  • James A. Sweeney, 24, of Bristol was cited on a charge of driving under the influence on Feb. 23, according to police reports. His blood alcohol concentration was .149, the report notes. He was cited to appear in court.
  • Robin Schempp, 48, of Waterbury was cited on a charge of driving under the influence on Feb. 23, according to police reports. Schempp’s “breath sample was more than two times the legal limit,” the report notes. Schempp was cited to appear in court on March 14.
  • Joshua Carmichael, 31, of Williston was cited on a charge of driving under the influence of drugs on Feb. 18 after police in New Haven investigated a report of someone “driving erratically and at a high rate of speed,” according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court on April 15.

Driving with suspended license

  • Ruth A. Worthen, 39, of Richford was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license on Feb. 18, according to police reports. She was cited to appear in court.
  • Aaron R. McCormack, 38, of South Burlington was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license-criminal on Feb. 22, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court.
  • Rusty A. Bell, 23, of Williston was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license on Feb. 22, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court.
  • Joseph L. Descoteaux, 22, of Colchester was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license on Feb. 23, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court.
  • Christopher J. Lafreniere, 31, of St. George was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license on Feb. 25, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court.

Vandalism

  • A Lawnwood Drive resident reported to police on Feb. 23 that his house was “egged” during the previous night, according to police reports. The case is under investigation.
  • A Cedar Lane resident reported to police on Feb. 26 that someone “put mustard all over her garage,” according to police reports. The case is under investigation.

    I take frequent walks in my neighborhood and surrounding sidewalks/roads on Industrial Avenue and Rt 2-A and occasionally see what appears to be a dog-poop bag, nicely tied, but simply left there in the road or on the sidewalk. I would like to remind dog-walkers that this is not appropriate. Please carry it off.
