Assault

A male juvenile was cited on a charge of simple assault at the Jean Garvin School on Harvest Lane on Oct. 14, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court. No other information was released.

 

Giant skunk

On Oct. 16, police received a report of a “giant skunk walking up and down Tower Lane,” according to police reports. Police found the skunk looking “sickly and bloated,” and it was “put down” by the officer on the scene, according to the report.

 

Skateboard complaint

Police received a complaint of skateboarders in the Bayberry Lane area of Williston on Oct. 15, according to police reports. Police spoke with the skaters, who “moved along without incident,” the report notes.

 

Driving under the influence

Dylan Berube, 22, of Connecticut was cited on a charge of driving under the influence on Oct. 17 after a motor vehicle stop, according to police reports. His blood alcohol test registered .091, the report notes. The legal limit for driving in Vermont is .08. He was cited to appear in court.

 

Driving with suspended license

• Following a motor vehicle stop for “numerous violations” on Oct. 13, Adam Prim, 28, of Colchester was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court.

• Following a motor vehicle stop on Oct. 14, Kevin R. Goodwin, 24, of Williston was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended license, according to police reports. He was cited to appear in court.

• Following a motor vehicle stop on Oct. 16, Austin O’Rourke, 20, of Williston was issued a violation ticket for allegedly driving with a suspended license, according to police reports. He was also cited on two motor vehicle violations, the report notes. He was cited to appear in court.
