Five Williston soccer players are headed to warmer climates this weekend.

Cooper O’Connell, Trey Tomasi, Tawn Tomasi, Will Yakubik and Laura Jennings are headed to the Y League National Finals at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. from Dec. 7 to 11.

The players are part of the Nordic Soccer Club and qualified during league play over the summer in the New England division of the Y league.

O’Connell, Tomasi, Yakubik and Tomasi all play for the Nordic 15 Premier Boys and will play against teams from Georgia, New York and New Jersey.

Jennings is a member of the Nordic 16 Premier Girls and will face opposition from New York, New Jersey and Florida.
