The Winooski Natural Resources Conservation presents its annual Tree Sale to promote the planting of native trees and shrubs throughout Vermont's landscape. “Peace for Veterans” is a program in Chittenden County that provides free therapeutic massage to returning soldiers. Massage therapists in the area have teamed up to offer 30-minute treatments twice a month. The South Burlington Career Firefighters and The Professional Firefighters of Vermont are holding their annual hockey game to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Local Firefighters and law enforcment officers will skate it out on the ice to raise awarness for the MDA. Cairns Arena, Full Stride Hockey League, The Other Paper, Mills & Greer and The Ground Round have graciously dontated to make the game possible.
