Champlain Valley Union High’s Autumn Eastman, the state’s premier distance runner, came away from last weekend’s New England Interscholastic track meet with a second in the 3,200-meter event.
The previous Saturday, Eastman had cleaned house in winning both the 3,000 and 1,500 runs at the Vermont Division 1 championships at Burlington High School.
Another Vermont winner in the New Englands held at Bridgewater, Mass. was Mount Mansfield Union High’s Alec Eschholz, who took first place in the 300 hurdles.

  1. Louis M. Izzo says:

I take frequent walks in my neighborhood and surrounding sidewalks/roads on Industrial Avenue and Rt 2-A and occasionally see what appears to be a dog-poop bag, nicely tied, but simply left there in the road or on the sidewalk. I would like to remind dog-walkers that this is not appropriate. Please carry it off.
