Convicted molester says not guilty in new case (4/15/10)

April 15, 2010

A Williston man convicted of molesting a sleeping 13-year-old girl has pleaded not guilty to new child pornography charges.

When 51-year-old Robert Kolibas first appeared in court on April 7 to answer the new charges, he invoked his right to wait 24 hours before entering a plea.

When he appeared in court the next day, the Williston resident pleaded not guilty.

Kolibas is charged with two counts of possession of child pornography. Both charges are misdemeanors, which each carries a maximum sentence of two years in jail.

Last month Kolibas was convicted of charges he drugged and then assaulted a 13-year-old girl staying at his house. He’s being held pending sentencing on the earlier convictions. He could be sentenced to 25 years.
