Classical guitarist to perform at Old Brick Church

Classical guitarist Peter Fletcher is headlining Friday’s concert at the Old Brick Church.
The performance, part of the Brick Church Music Series, is a benefit for the Friends of the Dorothy Alling Memorial Library. The Friends of the Dorothy Alling Memorial Library is a group of volunteers who work to stimulate and support library services and facilities for the community, share their enthusiasm for books and reading and focus public attention on the library, according to the library website.
Fletcher, a New York-based classical guitarist, has been studying guitar since age 7. He made his formal debut in 1983 at age 15, and has released three recordings.
The April 11 concert is set for 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the evening’s artist is photographer Ken Stone. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door, or $8 in advance and $10 at the door for children under 12 and seniors. Tickets are available at the library, Town Hall and town website,

    I take frequent walks in my neighborhood and surrounding sidewalks/roads on Industrial Avenue and Rt 2-A and occasionally see what appears to be a dog-poop bag, nicely tied, but simply left there in the road or on the sidewalk. I would like to remind dog-walkers that this is not appropriate. Please carry it off.
