The Champlain Valley Union High boys basketball team will take on Essex High at home Thursday before heading to St. Johnsbury Monday.

The 10-5 Redhawks beat both teams earlier in the season.

Last Thursday, CVU defeated Mount Mansfield Union 54-44. CVU’s Walker Storey led the Redhawks with 23 points, while Josh Bliss and Jed Morris had 10 points each.

On Monday, CVU bowed to 13-2 Rice Memorial High 69-43. Reece Pawlaczyk and Walker Storey led CVU scorers with 9 points each. Rice star Ben Shungu tallied 29 points.
