Brick Church Music Series to begin 8th season

Well known in the Burlington area for their rollicking, toe-tapping concerts, the Starline Rhythm Boys start off the 2015 Brick Church Music series. This band evokes the spirited country and juke joint sounds that echoed out of the Tennessee Hills and Texas Honkytonks of the 1940s and 50s. (LEFT TO RIGHT) Al Lemery plays his Fender ‘widow maker’ and powerful harmonies round out the trio’s high lonesome and hot rockin’ sound. Danny Coane, who fronts the band, writes, sings and picks a banjo or guitar with equal ability. Billy Bratcher holds down the beat for the trio on the upright bass.
